We insist on quality and knowing what goes into our products. Made in, and shipped from, the UK,they are hand blended in small batches to ensure maximum freshness, using ingredients sourced from suppliers we have known for a number of years. A former nurse, G.P’s wife and mother of five , Allison England is the author of the bestselling aromatherapy book Aromatherapy and Massage for mother and baby. (First published as Aromatherapy for mother and baby in 1993). A childcare expert, she has been researching and creating her unique and bespoke products for 30 years and is considered by many to be the authority on essential oils for pregnancy, labour and babies. Allison, who began her foray into the benefits of aromatherapy back in the early 1980's, while working to help prenatal and post-natal mothers, explains: “These days we are all far more aware of the harmful chemicals that have been used in the beauty industry – and their potentially disastrous effects. This is particularly true when it comes to products that have been designed specifically for mothers and babies.”  “Mothers and midwives who consulted me at my mother and baby clinic were worried about the base ingredients found in many shop bought lotions and creams. “So often, it is not the active ingredients, but the base ingredients that can cause skin problems. For some time I had been formulating my carrier bases and creams for clients with sensitive skins - a range designed just for mothers-to-be and babies was the natural progression.”  “Mothers trust our brand because it has been developed with them in mind. Her unique Maternity Care range of Pregnancy, Postnatal and Aroma baby gift packs, were available in selected stores, pharmacies and UK hospital maternity shops, when  Aromatherapy for maternity care was still  very much in its infancy.
